EXAM SCHEDULES
Examination Rules & Regulations
- Be punctual during the examination period.
- Be properly attired in full uniform.
- Order & silence must be observed throughout the examination period.
- Bring your own stationery. No sharing is allowed.
- No student is allowed to leave the examination room before the end of each paper.
Cheating is a serious offence. A student who is caught cheating
during any test/examination will be given a zero mark for that paper.
A ‘Fair’ or ‘Poor’ conduct grade will be given.
Examples of cheating may include:
- Behaving dishonestly or attempting to copy from any form of written notes/e-devices.
- Copying from another student or allowing his/her answer to be copied by another student.
- Tampering with marks/answers during checking of scripts.
Absence from Weighted
Assessment (WA) & Examinations
A student who is absent for a paper due to illness must produce a medical certificate (only medical certificates from a doctor registered with the Singapore Medical Council are accepted). For students with a valid reason for their absence, ‘VR’ (valid reason) would be reflected for the WA/SA & a proration of the marks will be reflected in the semestral reports.
A student without a medical certificate will be given zero mark for the paper that he/she missed. Letters from parents will not be accepted. All documents
to validate a student’s absence from school must be submitted to the Form Teacher immediately, once the student returns to school.
The table below indicates the school’s action regarding students who absent with a medical certificate or a valid reason:
Graduating students will have to sit for all the exam papers, failing which;
he/she will not receive the ‘Completion Certificate’.
Promotional Criteria
There will be no retention from Primary 1 to Primary 6. Students will be monitored from Primary 1 to Primary 3 on their ability to cope with many subjects (Religious & Academic). Student who does not attain the criteria below in the Primary 3 End-of-Year Examination, will be advised to find an alternative path:
