Arabic Language (Secondary) Department Highlights 2024
The year was packed with exciting activities that brought students together to learn, compete, and have fun!
In March, we kicked things off with a carnival, where students sold various items, enjoyed live performances, and even got to experience an online football match with an Arabic-speaking announcer—definitely a unique twist!
After the exams in May, students had a well-deserved break with engaging activities in Arabic. Secondary 1-4 students took on the Amazing Race at Bedok Reservoir, racing through challenges while building teamwork and friendships. Pre-U students sharpened their public speaking skills in a special workshop designed to boost confidence and communication in Arabic.
Then, in July, we celebrated Arabic Language Week, which was filled with exciting competitions and performances. From dubbing and nasyeed to digital poster design, reels-making, poetry readings, and khutbah presentations, students had plenty of opportunities to showcase their creativity and language skills.
It’s been a fantastic year of learning beyond the classroom, and we can’t wait for more adventures ahead!
