Application Fee
A non-refundable administrative fee of $20.40 is charged for every application.

Admission Process
Application
All application for P1 2024 can only be done via an online registration form, from
3 April 2023 to 14 April 2023. Each applicant is applying to sit for one entrance test only.
Submission of the required documents must be done via the online registration form only.
Parents/Guardians can only apply at ONE madrasah of their choice.
MWTI will send you a confirmation email and an authorised letter stating that your child/ward is eligible to sit for the Entrance Test.

Please prepare a scanned copy of each of the below documents before
the application date to ease the registration process.
Documents Required
- Identity cards of both parents and guardians (if applicable)
- Child's birth certificate; and Certificate of Citizenship (if applicable)
- Deferment Letter from Ministry of Education (if applicable)
- The parent's marriage certificates
- Summary of K1 Progress Report/subjects took in K1
- Immunisation Report (available in Health Booklet page 57 & 58)
- Child's Medical Report (if applicable)
- Other related documents such as divorce papers, custody letters, death certificate, adoption certificate, etc. (where applicable)
- For application made by guardian, please also attach:
- An authorisation letter from the parents; or
- Marriage Certificate of step parents (where applicable)

Application to Madrasah Wak Tanjong Al-Islamiah (MWTI)
Admission is based on PSLE results, Al-Quran, Arabic and Total Religious subjects.
MWTI Students
1. PSLE Results (Total Achievement Level of 24 or better).
2. Attain 65% or more for Total Religious subjects.
3. Attain 50% or more for Al-Quran and Arabic Language (either Nahu or Insyak).
Students from Other Madrasahs
1. PSLE Results (Total Achievement Level of 24 or better).
2. Attain 70% or more for Total Religious subjects.
3. Attain 50% or more or Al-Quran, and Arabic Language (either Nahu or Insyak).
4. Will go through an interview / oral test.

SuccessfuL Applicants to MWTI
The decision of the school’s Admission Committee is final.
Shortlisted applicants will be informed by 1 December 2021. Applicants will be required to produce certified true copies of their documents in person.
- Copy of PSLE Results
- Copy of School Report Books (Primary 5 & 6)
- Two recent passport-sized photographs of applicant. Girls: White headgear (tudung). Boys: White collar shirt with black songkok. (Background of the photo should be blue and not white).
- Copy of applicant’s Singapore Birth Certificate.
- A registration fee of $50.
Pre-U Admission

Open to Singapore citizens and PR only

Aptitude Test
Applicants sit for an aptitude test at MWTI to determine level of knowledge.
Successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified by call and/or post.

Successful applicants are required to register at MWTI with an enrollment fee.
