SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY
Mastering of the Arabic language is a pre-requisite for the understanding of the Quran and Hadith (Prophetic Tradition), the two fundamental sources of Islamic jurisprudence. Not less in importance is the acquisition of knowledge in the secular sciences. This is to build a Muslim generation of relevance and adaptive to modern challenges.

School Rules & Regulations
- Students must be punctual for all school activities.
- Students who are not present at the respective venues by 7.30 a.m. for the assembly & doa recitation, will be considered late.
- Latecoming is an offence, and offenders will be dealt with accordingly
- Attendance in all CCA sessions is compulsory.
- Students who are unable to attend CCA must produce a Medical Certificate.
- Letters from parents will only be accepted for urgent private matters.
- Students are required to put on the school’s P.E. attire on CCA days.
- Students are required to be at the CCA venue 5 minutes before the start of the CCA session.
- Students are required to show respect to their trainers & coaches & listen to their instructions & orders carefully.
- Students in sports CCA are to abide by the safety rules at all times
- All CCA equipment must be handled with care & used responsibly.
- CCA equipment can only be used with the permission of the teacher in-charge & if required, in the presence of the teacher-in-charge or professional coach/trainer.
- All CCA equipment must be returned & stored at its designated place after use.
- Students are required to attend all activities scheduled for them – lessons after school, CCA training sessions, enrichment courses, learning journeys, school events – unless certified medically unfit for school or excused due to valid reasons.
- Parents/guardians must inform the General Office or Form Teacher when their child/ward is unable to attend school by 7.30 am.
- Absence from school must be covered by a valid medical certificate or a letter of excuse from parents/guardians which must be submitted to the Form Teacher the following working day. Absence without valid reasons is deemed ‘Truancy’ and students will face the due consequences.
All students must:
- Attend school regularly.
- Wear the school uniform smartly.
- Be punctual for school & all activities. Latecomers will face disciplinary action.
- Attend daily do’a recitation and pledge-taking ceremony which starts promptly at 7.30 a.m.
- Be polite & respectful at all times in speech & action.
- Be courteous to all school staff, vendors, fellow schoolmates & visitors.
- Follow instructions given by the school authorities.
- Submit a formal request to the school for permission to attend to any urgent private matters.
Students who wish to leave school during school hours must observe the following procedures:
- Obtain permission from the Heads of Department (HOD).
- Inform the Form Teachers.
- Contact their parents or guardians to come to school.
- Receive the ‘Permission to Leave School’ note.
- Leave school only when escorted by their parents/guardians.
All students must:
- Ensure that they are responsible for their own learning.
- Observe the classroom protocol at all times.
- Be attentive during lessons & other school activities.
- Sit up straight & take notes during lessons.
- Be equipped with their textbooks & other required materials.
- Do their best to complete work & assignments.
- Be punctual in submitting work & assignments.
- Maintain desks & chairs in good condition.
- Take good care of all school facilities and equipment. Vandalism of school property will be severely dealt with.
- Request for a teacher’s permission to leave the classroom.
- Knock on the door & ask for permission to enter the class.
All students must:
- Leave the classroom for recess only with the teacher’s permission.
- Queue in an orderly manner when buying food and/or drinks.
- Buy & consume food and/or drinks in the canteen only.
- Return all plates & utensils to the tray collection points
- Do a wipe down after eating.
- Keep the canteen clean and litter-free.
- Stop purchasing food and/or drinks two minutes before the end of recess
- Maintain silence at all times.
- Be properly attired.
- Eating & drinking in the library is not permitted.
- Books removed from the shelves are to be returned to their original position on the shelves.
- If the book is damaged or lost, the student will have to provide a compensation.
- Abide by all library rules and regulations.
- The library reserves the right to disallow misbehaving students from entering and/or remaining in the library.
All students must:
- Students are allowed to bring their handphones/electronic devices to school, although it is discouraged.
- Handphones/electronic devices are to be switched off upon entering the Madrasah. They are not to be switched on or used unless permission has been granted by a staff of the Madrasah.
- Handphones/electronic devices are to be kept in the students’ bags at all times.
- During examinations/tests, students should not possess handphones/electronic devices. Disciplinary action will be taken against students who violate this rule.
- It is the sole responsibility of the students to safeguard their handphones/ electronic devices. The Madrasah will not be responsible for the loss or damage of the students’ handphones/electronic devices.
- If a student is found to abuse his/her handphone/electronic device, the item may be confiscated & investigation will be carried out by the Madrasah’s Discipline Commitee.
- A handphone/electronic device can only be switched on after school hours. Only official calls are allowed at designated call zones – level 1 (excluding the canteen and carpark).
- To avoid disruption during lessons, parents/guardians are not allowed to call their children/ward during school hours. Should you wish to contact your child/ward, call the general office.
- If any student is found to violate the handphone/ electronic device usage rules, disciplinary action will be taken.
Students are obligated to wear school uniform on the following occasions:
- Weekdays (Monday – Friday, except for PE and/or CCA days).
- Internal examinations (Mid-year, Final-year, Prelims).
- National examinations (PSLE, GCE N, O & A Levels).
- Formal school events (Haflah, Zikra Rasul etc.).Be equipped with their textbooks and other required materials.
- No henna and nail polish allowed.
Students are allowed to wear PE attire on the following occasions:
- Extra lessons for exam preparations.
- Sports Day / Madrasah Sports Games (MSG) events.
- PE & CCA days / during training sessions.
